Bob Mould hurt Stephy’s eardrums and she liked it.

Stephy, since you’re such a big Gilmore Girls fan, pleeeease tell me you watched Bunheads! I really need for that show not to get cancelled, it’s where I get my happy feelings from!
I only watched the first half of the pilot. Do you suggest I bunker down and give it another try? I want Gilmore Girls to go on forever and I will accept this substitute if I need to!
YES! You have to watch the rest! It only gets better after the pilot. Plus a lot of Stars Hollow favourites end up in Paradise!
The Tony Danza show used to air at 1:00a.m. in L.A. (that was the one and only time it came on) and I would stay up to watch it. He tap danced every episode! It was the most awkward show ever and I LOOOOVVVEEEDDDD it! Micah couldn’t handle the cringe-y-ness and would not watch. Also, Tony Danza did his dumb teacher show here in Philly and all of my teacher friends were peeeeasssed. Great show! I loved hearing the WTB theme song again and again!
He tap danced every episode??? WOW. I’ve gotta see if there’s any of this on YouTube. I want to know more about your teacher friends being pissed about the Danza teachings. I’m so glad you enjoyed the repeating WTB theme. Some people did not, but I think the quality content of the show forced people to sit through it.
I actually remember now that Joel McHale loved the Tony Danza talk show and would always recap it on The Soup. He loved when Tony would segue from some funny or happy news to sad news like a celebrity death and would say “Sad news.”
So two things: Thanks for playing my call, I felt famous and I am so angry at Tony Danza bc I am paying a bazillion $ a semester to actually be able to learn about policy and teaching and all that crap and he does it on a show????? Asshat.
Also, bunheads is awesome-thanks Eugene-I thought I was the only one watching it.
Yay! Another Bunheads fan! Everyone should watch it, that show is amazing! Everything I loved about Gilmore Girls PLUS ballerinas! Weekly ballet routines was the missing ingredient I didn’t know my life was missing! They’re like gazelles! Gazelles!
Holy shit!
“Shut Up Little Man” and “Resurrect Dead” in the same breath. Two best documentaries I’ve seen in forever. In the last couple of months I’ve watched “Shut Up” twice and “Resurrect Dead” three times. “Resurrect Dead” is so haunting to me. It seems so cut and dried in the movie, but in reality, nothing is really known. And I need to know!

Also, about the chocolate place: You said nothing was working and everything smelled like farts. In honor of Kurt Vonnegut, I now want that on my tombstone. Seems funnier than “Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt.”
