Dongtini – Episode 1
May 10, 2011 in Podcast by dongtini
Welcome to the first episode of Dongtini! In this episode we kick things off with disgust about the Black Eyed Peas, deep insight into the rapture that wasn’t (or was it?) and close out with our oily segment “Readings From The Heart”.
Supplementary items to the show:
1. The lighting in the Left Behind scene is extra bad.
2. When the guy tried to open the airplane door I grabbed David's arm and he said "You seem really into this movie."
3. WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY CHANNEL. hahahaaa!
OMG… I am laughing so hard that I peed my pants. (Peed, not "oiled.")
Please, please get your next podcast up ASAP – and don't change a thing! (Well, maybe the background music could be a bit quieter… love the spooky stuff you used for the "rapture" segment.)
Word verification: "bramates." (Really!)
Thanks, e2c! Duly noted about the music. Thanks for listening! Also, that's the best word verification ever.
HA! "Gas with discharge!"
Hello Ladies and thank you and well done for your first podcast. Stephy your voice was deeper than I expected although I have no idea what I expected.
Unfortunately the 'rapture' thing has been a big issue among fundamentalist churches here in the UK for as long as I can remember (i.e. a long time.)
Next time can you read the 4* reviews?
Oh boy, you must tell us more about the rapture prevalence in the UK. What are 4* reviews? My voice is deep because I was born a man.
Stephy,
1) Basically the 'rapture' is a big deal among the same types of churches here as in the US – mainly fed by 'learning materials' sent across the Atlantic.
2) You said the reviews you read out rated the product as 5 * – I just wondered what the lower rated reviews had to say. I did check Amazon.co.uk but there were only a couple of funny reviews.
3) Having been indoctrinated by US TV and film output I expect all 'good Southern gals' to have a high pitched voice. I wasn't complainin' just sayin'.
