Who was the cat vomiting at dawn? Birdsworth or Marnie? Inquiring minds want to know!
Mark, I believe it was Marnie. I asked Gregg since he was the one who saw the continued vomiting after I first heard it and he’s not sure since he was 5am delirious, but it is believed to be Marnie. There has been too much vomiting lately from both of them! Gregg found another vomit bath in the bedroom spanning four places on two cat towers and the floor.
What gets me about Christmas is that there is this very long buildup and hype and everyone’s talking about how it’s the best time of the year and it’s so great and then you get there and it’s over in a moment and you look back and realize it was basically just OK. Very anticlimactic.
I also think that’s why it hits people so hard. If you’re not happy then Christmas comes and suddenly you’re under all this pressure to act happy and not be sad. It’s the most wonderful time of the year after all, you can’t be sad in it! Who needs that kind of pressure?
My God, it’s SO anti-climatic. And without even caring or being around anyone who cares that much, the pressure to be happy and enjoy is just hanging there in the air!
