The original ran for 6 years, 2 episodes a week for a whopping total of 692 episodes of which I’ve seen about 450. Wentworth has 34 episodes over 3 seasons so it’s a much tighter show!

Will have to check out Wentworth, I didn’t watch Prisoner and I’ve been scared of prequels ever since Ja Ja Binks and the Menace of whatever it was.
