I also heard “Deep Heat” as “DP”, and my first association with “sprinkle” was the same sign you mentioned. On a different tangent, I’ve been living in China for a month now and have yet to find some worthy dong-related news – it’s such a common word that I’m certain that something newsworthy will have to come up eventually. The other day I ate at a Chinese fast-food joint called Dongdong Buns, but I’m waiting for something even better to turn up. I’ll keep you posted!

I never knew it existed so I only got to try it when I visited the US and I loved that soothing wintergreen flavour!

Does Mello Yello still exist? As a child it was my favourite thing in the world but then it was taken off the market due to the sanctions and now it doesn’t seem to be a thing anymore. Someone told me that it was a Mountain Dew competitor and to just try Mountain Dew instead but that was a mistake. Mountain Dew tasted like a hate crime! Won’t be trying that again anytime soon!
